I'm Here For You

I’m Here for You

Fall has entered the door of seasons.

The new crops are collected and sold.

Children race across a field of leaves.

They are bundled up from head to toe.

“Look!” one said with glee, “a woolly bear!”

“Where?" " There!  Thereupon the golden leaf.”

The clouds roll by, summer says, “goodbye.”

With all, it’s breath autumn brings relief.

“Goodbye, for now, garden blessed, sweet rest.”,

The cheerfulness of bird songs, ring round.

They line the treetops at the road's edge.

Together they make a joyful sound.

The winds carry, confetti leaves on.

Swirling them about where e’re they go.

Observers watch with apple cider.

While children find treasures both two and fro.

An acorn there and a bright red leaf,

A piece of bark, a prickly pine cone.

What will go into their nature box?

Nature’s treasures they will carry home.

Around a campfire, we congregate.

To honor our God for everything.

For the blessings of his provision.

For all the love we see in small things.

Like pumpkins, a smile, like a new friend.

Like an old, old coin found in the sand.

Little things can make big things happen.

When you're holding the Father’s hand.

Let us lift our voice in thanksgiving.

Let us continue to praise always.

Hold onto his hand by faith, believe.

Throughout these frosty cool Autumn days.

Enjoy all the blessings of today.

Treat every day as though it’s new.

Cause every single little blessing.

Is here, from God to say,” I'm here for you.
